How to Volunteer

The Burgh Beautiful campaign always positively welcomes new volunteers.

There is a large choice of activities: raising plants; planting; fund-raising; project management; tree planting; litter pick organising; biodiversity programmes; creating wildlife areas; liaising with community groups and schools; working with local businesses; organising sponsorship; running lotteries and raffles; organising plant sales; writing articles and press releases; developing new areas; blue sky thinking, etc.

All volunteers have different levels and types of activities, work together with others or on their own, and do as much/little as they judge right for themselves.
