Visit to Dalmeny House |

Around 50 members of Linlithgow Civic Trust enjoyed a most interesting visit to Dalmeny House on Sunday 5th October.
It was a delight to be shown round this interesting house, with the Rosebery and Rothschild collections proudly on display in themed rooms, by guides who made it come alive through their knowledge and infectious enthusiasm. Lady Rosebery, who wrote the official guidebook, gave an interesting and amusing talk on the origins of the house, the collections and the family.
